Overview

With its blue-green water set against the stark backdrop of Victoria Glacier, Lake Louise is probably the most beloved and most photographed scene in the Canadian Rockies and often referred to as the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies,”. This charming afternoon sightseeing tour will take in the glorious vistas of Lake Louise before continuing to world renowned Moraine Lake. Both lakes form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will have plenty of time to take photos and explore their shorelines. Your informative guide will give a fascinating insight about the mountaineering history and how a tragic accident at Lake Louise shaped Canadian mountain culture. This tour will also take in the picturesque views from the Bow Valley Parkway, Chateau Lake Louise and Castle Mountain before ending with a short walk to a spectacular viewpoint in the Valley of Ten Peaks overlooking Moraine Lake.
