Overview

Originally a fishing camp transformed into a garden in 1926, the stunning gardens are now home to more then 3,000 species, cultivars and varieties of plants, both native and exotic, in approximately 15 gardens. The onsite summer  home of the original owner, Estevan Lodge & Restaurant features a selection of historic objects and photographs from its early days, and locally-sourced menu items with unique tastes from the gardens’ plant collection. Guest will also findcontemporary art, a historic house, fine dining, concerts and other musical activities on weekends. Allow 1.5 - 3 hours to visit the historical gardens, and 1 hour for the International festival of Gardens (available Jun 24 onward).
