Overview

The ranch’s free roaming horses are a part of the extended ranch family and will delight all visitors. The horses live in a natural setting on 160 private acres, surrounded by Crown land populated by bald eagles, moose, deer, coyotes, black bears, cougars, owls and bluebirds. The ranch is renowned for such enticing features as Natural Horsemanship, scenic trail rides, horseback riding introduction in our ranch arena, small personal guest ranch environment, a passion for food and gourmet meals, deluxe cabins and romantic rooms with lake views – the ideal British Columbia guest ranch experience!

Location:Approximately a 40-minute drive (29 km) from Kamloops, or a 4-hour drive (380 km) from VancouverType of accommodation:The 2 Main Lodge suites feature a handcrafted king size log bed, and a full private bathroom and a maximum capacity of 4 guests per room. The lodge itself boasts the Wild Horse Saloon, a fully equipped games room, a commercial kitchen, a licensed bar, a wide porch with inviting rocking chairs overlooking Campbell Lake. The ranch’s 2 Deluxe Cabins featuring a warm western style living room with a cathedral ceiling , a cozy wood stove, 1 bedroom (queen bed) with an additional sleeping loft (2 single beds) and a full bathroom. Enjoy beautiful views of gleaming Campbell Lake and beautiful Monte Hills right out of your window or your private deck. Take exit Barnhartvale Roadd / Dallas Drive / Kipp Road. Take the roundabout (second exit to Dallas drive, not Todd Road). Dallas Drive turns into Barnhartvale Road( bends to right) up into the hills, towards Eagle Point Golf course, Do not pass Eagle Point Golfcourse. Turn right on Robbins Range Road,( just past the mailboxes, and across riding facility with jumps) which turns into Campbell Range Road, (Please note - don’t turn left at the T intersection, and don’t take Scuitto Lake Forest Road on right - keep going straight to the top of the mountain). When you reach the top, you pass an old ranch house with Moose antlers on the right. Continue until big yellow private road sign and CHGR sign on right side (7 km from turn off Barnhartvale Road to private road sign). Turn right on the private road, which will bring you towards Campbell Lake. Go past the Everett’s sign and Akashic Stables. After a few hundred meters you’ll see the Campbell Hills Guest Ranch Gate on your right.From CalgaryThe same as above, except the you drive Hwy 1 West towards Kamloops before taking the exit Barnhartvale Road / Kipp Road. A shuttle service is available between the ranch and Kamloops airport or downtown. This service must be requested at the time of booking. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes.
