The suites, conceived in an Arabic-meets-Swahili design, are set amidst tropical gardens, right by the beach. The whitewashed walls with their arches covered in fuchsia pink bougainvillea evoke the island’s Arabic influences, while the locally-crafted terrazzo tiles bring in the coastal Swahili vibe. All suites have outdoor terraces or balconies facing the beach or the tropical gardens. At sunrise, the resort is magically lit with the first rays of sun, setting the tone for the day to come.
